Mechanical Design
Experience in designing handling systems for very small electronic components, multiple component assembly equipment, assembly jigs, tooling and fixtures, press tools, end of line testers, semi and fully automatic assembly systems, in process testers and full production lines. Industry standard software including 3D design capability.
Designers with in-depth technical knowledge work alongside our customers to produce safe, reliable and cost effective solutions. Our designers are involved from project concept through to completion. Regular design reviews are carried out to ensure products are developed to their full potential and to customer specification, using readily available parts and customer preferred suppliers.
All of our work incorporates a degree of research and development and we are happy to offer this as a stand alone service to carry out feasability studies on new or emerging products that perhaps aren’t quite ready for manufacture.
We often work hand in hand with customers to help develop their own products for faster and more cost effective ways of product manufacture.
Electronic/PCB Design
Electronic design, with industrial standard Gerber plot data. General analogue and digital design for control and process.
Purpose designed test heads for measurement capture. Applications have included precision capacitance measurements, surge, leakage and impedance.
Our approach focuses around the best use of current technology for each individual project, and relies upon the development of close working relationships with our customers.
Software/Programming
Our Software engineers demonstrate a variety of skills and experience, and readily provide solutions to a wide range of control, measurement and data processing problems. Projects regularly involve PLC programming and developing DOS and Windows based software using C++, Delphi, Visual Basic and Assembler Code. In addition to mainstream programming, we also engage in more specialist work, involving custom-built control systems and embedded applications.
Our software is very user friendly and can readily accommodate updates should your production requirements or quality procedures change, allowing for a fully flexible system.
Project Management
Providing comprehensive customer support throughout the entire project. Detailed build programs help manage leadtimes and delivery, with ongoing support on completion.
Visits can be arranged during the build process to allow for basic trials and further development as required.
Wiring/PCB Assembly
Wiring of cabinets, trays and complete machines all finished to a high quality industry standard.
PCB Assembly, surface mount and through hole. Once assembled all PCB’s are bench tested in house before fitting to the application for final testing under working conditions.
Build
Dedicated teams of technicians carry out assembly and development of equipment on our site with full back up after delivery including installation, acceptance trials and training on customers’ premises.
Experienced engineers carry out installation and acceptance trials on our customers’ premises.
Full training on new equipment is provided, including mechanical, electrical and software, together with maintenance schedules and procedures.
Servicing & Maintenance
In addition to the comprehensive design and manufacturing service, we offer maintenance and servicing facilities for, not only our machines but for most types of production equipment.
We recognise the need for preventative maintenance and regular servicing, whether it’s an agreed program over a period of time or a one off service to improve productivity, we can offer a helping hand for your technicians.
Machine Shop
Full Machine Shop facilities on our site ensure short lead-times and high standards. Services include; CNC machining, milling, turning, grinding, cylindrical grinding, welding and fabrication, enabling all types of machining to be accomodated including repairs or modifications. CMM facilities are also available.
